About RAILIX — Free 3D Endless Runner
RAILIX is a free, instant-play 3D endless runner browser game available at railix.xyz. No download, no sign-up, no account required — just click Play and sprint through neon-lit cyber city rail tracks.
Built with Three.js and pure HTML5, RAILIX delivers a smooth 3D arcade experience that runs entirely in your browser. Whether you are on a desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone, RAILIX loads in seconds and is ready to play.
How to Play RAILIX
RAILIX drops you onto a set of glowing neon rail tracks cutting through a futuristic cyber city. Your runner sprints forward automatically — your job is to dodge obstacles and collect as much as possible before you crash.
Oncoming trains barrel down the track and aerial drones sweep across lanes. Timing your jumps, slides, and lane changes is the core skill that separates beginner runners from high-score legends. As your distance grows, the speed increases and obstacles come faster, making every run more intense than the last.
Collecting Energy Cubes and coins during a run also fuels your score multiplier. The higher your multiplier, the more points every metre of distance and every collectible is worth — so chaining long runs without crashing is always the goal.
Controls
- Jump: Swipe up or press the Space bar
- Slide / Duck: Swipe down
- Move left: Swipe left or press the Left arrow key
- Move right: Swipe right or press the Right arrow key
- Pause: Tap the pause button in the top corner
Scoring System
Your score increases continuously as you run. Each metre of distance adds points equal to your current multiplier. Collecting a coin adds 50 × multiplier points, and each Energy Cube adds 150 × multiplier points. Using power-ups at the right moment can push your multiplier higher and send your score soaring.
Game Features
RAILIX packs a full set of arcade features into a single browser page, all running without any install or account.
Power-Ups
Power-ups appear on the track and are activated the moment you collect them. Each lasts for a limited time and can dramatically change the outcome of a run. Available power-ups include speed boosts that let you outrun hazards, coin magnets that automatically pull nearby coins to you, invincibility shields that protect you from one collision, and score multipliers that stack on top of your existing combo.
Daily Missions
Every 24 hours, four new Daily Missions challenge you to push your play style. Missions include collecting 100 coins, gathering 15 Energy Cubes, running 500 metres, and using 2 power-ups in a single run. Completing missions unlocks bonus coins used in the Shop and contributes to your daily reward streak.
Daily Rewards
Return to RAILIX each day to claim a daily reward. The longer your streak, the more generous the reward. Rewards are granted through the Daily Rewards panel and accumulate in your coin balance for spending in the Shop.
Shop & Characters
The in-game Shop lets you spend coins on new character skins and cosmetic accessories for your runner. Each character has a unique look — unlock them to personalise your experience without affecting gameplay balance.
Leaderboard
RAILIX saves your top 50 scores locally on your device. The Leaderboard panel shows your personal rankings with three time filters: All Time, Today, and This Week. Search by player name to find specific runs in your history.
Weather & Environments
Switch between five weather modes from the Settings panel during a run — Day (Siang) with bright sunlight, Night (Malam) with deep shadows and neon glow, Rain (Hujan) with animated precipitation, Fog (Kabut) with reduced visibility, and Sunset with warm orange lighting. Each mode uses different skybox colours and environmental lighting, making every session feel visually distinct.
Username & Profile
Set your username before your first run. Your name appears on the Leaderboard and in the HUD during play. You can change your username at any time using the profile button in the top corner of the main menu.

Free Browser Games Like RAILIX
RAILIX belongs to the endless runner genre — one of the most popular casual game formats on desktop and mobile. Endless runners challenge players to react quickly, improve incrementally, and chase a higher score with each attempt. The genre is known for its simple controls, high replayability, and satisfying difficulty curve.
What sets RAILIX apart from other browser-based endless runners is its real-time 3D rendering using Three.js and WebGL, delivering depth and visual polish typically associated with native mobile apps — all inside a single HTML page that loads instantly at railix.xyz.
All progress in RAILIX — your high score, coins, unlocked characters, and settings — persists locally between sessions on the same browser and device. There is nothing to install, no account to create, and no data sent to a server. Your game is yours, stored on your own device.
Tips & Tricks for a High Score
Getting a high score in RAILIX requires more than quick reflexes. Here are proven strategies used by top runners:
- Stay in the centre lane — The middle lane gives you the most reaction time to dodge left or right when obstacles appear.
- Prioritise Energy Cubes over coins — Energy Cubes award 150 × multiplier vs. 50 × for coins, so they are worth three times as much per collect.
- Save power-ups for speed surges — The game accelerates the longer you run. Invincibility shields and magnets are most valuable when the track is moving fastest.
- Complete Daily Missions every day — The coin income from missions is the fastest way to unlock Shop characters without grinding long runs.
- Use Night or Fog weather mode — Reduced visibility forces you to react earlier, training faster reflexes that carry over to Day mode runs.
- Set a username you care about — Leaderboard competition against your own named scores increases motivation to beat your personal best.
